How a validation scope, calibration tool or annual check-up can help keep our systems working consistently.
ScopeControl, Lightcontrol and GuideControl are factory calibrated. A validation scope can be purchased as a "golden standard", which gives the ability to check the consistency of our system regularly based according to quality procedures.
ScopeControl
During quality control Dovideq uses a validation scope. The raw values of the parameters on every ScopeControl should match with each other. A customer can use a validation scope as well in order to check the consistency of the ScopeControl's measurements/output. If there is an unexpected deviation, contact Dovideq. In case of system adjustments, they need to be done by Dovideq or an authorized service partner.
Dovideq advices to do this at least once per year and offers this as a full service.
GuideControl
During quality control Dovideq uses a calibration tool. This contains uniform fibers in a steel housing, preventing them from being damaged. A sensor at the inlet measures the light intensity. A sensor on the outlet measures the light transmitted. This is converted to a Tx and Rx value and will be set as a 100% for the fiber diameter for the calibration tool (5mm). Measurements of cables are compared with the Tx/Rx ratio versus diameter, resulting in the cable's LT output percentage.
During annual checkup we check the values of the calibration tool and recalibrate preventively. In case of system adjustments, they need to be done by Dovideq or an authorized service partner.

LightControl

LeakControl
During quality control Dovideq is adjusting pump voltage output, pressure transmitter values, pressure relief settings and leak tightness. These actions (together with necessary adjustments) can only be done by Dovideq or an authorized service partner.
