Deflating error

The LeakControl displays "Error deflating Press RESET" after running a leak test

What does this error mean?

Upon completion of a test, the LeakControl is designed to deflate within a 30-second timeframe. Should this deflation process exceed 30 seconds, the system will alert the user with an error message.

What to do when encountering this error?

There are two probable causes when this error message is shown. Either the system is unable to deflate or the system is unable to detect the deflation.

In order to diagnose which case is applicable in a situation the user must read the current pressure reading. Either the system will keep reading a high pressure (around 200 mbar) or the pressure will drop but not low enough to trigger the completion of the deflation process (around 7-10 mbar). Upon diagnosing the issue, refer to one of the following sections that corresponds to the problem you are experiencing.

High Pressure Reading

If the system fails to deflate this indicates that the solenoid is malfunctioning. The solenoid is responsible for opening during the deflation process. In order to solve this problem the solenoid will need to be replaced. Please contact your supplier to get further assistance.

Low Pressure Reading

On the other hand the system might deflate correctly, but is unable to detect that the deflation has taken place. This suggests that there may be an issue with the pressure sensor.

When the system has a software version of 0.5 or higher, the sensor can be re calibrated. Otherwise please contact your supplier to get further assistance.
